Four-Hour Reception
A four-hour reception includes any or all of the following: background music for cocktail hour; formal introductions of the bridal party, parents, and grandparents; dinner music; and dance music. With an enormous variety of music, we can keep any age group dancing. During the reception, we will host the blessing, toasts, bouquet and garter toss, first dance, parents’ dances and cake cut. We would also be happy to relay any announcements or information to your guests. Also included is the basic dance floor lighting that will flood the space with different colors, exciting your guests for the dancing portion of the evening.

What We Offer
Each event is different and unique in its own way; It’s Your Day DJ would like to create your event to suit you and your vision. Dance Floor Lighting Upgrade
For events that will have a large dancing crowd, we offer and recommend dance floor lighting upgrades. The basic lights are good, but the digital smart lights are great! High-tech laser and LED lights add dramatic lighting and effects to the dance floor. They really set the mood by giving the venue the feel of a top night club.

Ceremony Music
Some weddings may require the DJ to provide music during the ceremony. We can accomodate any selections needed for the ceremony processional and recessional. A microphone for the officiant and/or bride and groom is included with the purchase of ceremony music.

Room Up-Lighting
Having up-lighting around the room brings it to life. We use any color you wish to match your reception, the room up lighting will really accent the walls and will create a magnificent presence. Especially when the lights are turned down.

Additional Time
For some events four hours is just not enough time, so all clients are invited to request additional time. We believe that at least one extra hour will allow enough time to do all the formal things during the reception.

Name In Lights
For events and couples that would like to display their names, initials or a special message on the dance floor or somewhere in the room.

Photo Montage
Using a top of the line projector and screen, we are able to show a playlist of photographs of the bride and groom, friends and family. These are most popular during cocktail hour and dinner.
